What Species To Get??

Hiya,

So I'm looking for a potential species but am totally unsure of which one, so any help would be much appreciated.

I have my small furries in the same room as the potential T so just to be on the safe side cannot have any urticating hairs, at all, whether they use them or not.
I'd like one that doesn't spend alot of it's time hidden away, in a burrow for instance.
Preferably eye catching but not a big deal and I'm really not fussed about handling them.

Thanks for any recommendations.

Hiya, welcome :)
Most of the Ts that don't have urticating hairs are Old World species which tend to be venomous. One New World genus that don't have urticating hairs are the Psalmopoeus which are arboreal and I recommend the cambridgei as the tend to be less skittish and more visible although not a colourful as the irminia.
A couple of Old World Ts that are fairly calm are the beautiful black Phormingochilus arboricola, another arboreal and a ground dweller that doesn't hide away too much is the Orphnaecus sp negros.

I echo Ennie. The Psalmopoeus, Pseudoclamoris, and Tapinauchenius genera are all new world's without urticating hairs. If you are worried about your fuzzy critters' welfare AND if they become enamored with spiders, maybe the Psalmopoeus aren't for you, as their venom is potent. The other 2 genera are less venomous, but they are lightning fast.
