What is ths patch on abdomen?

This patch has recently appeared on my b.hamorri. it seems to have gotten larger from what I can tell. No abnormal behavior. T is still eating and drinking and digging

The photo isn't super clear, but is it a bald spot? Most New World tarantulas kick urticating hairs from their abdomen as self-defense. Otherwise, I'm not sure what you're referring to.

Not a bald spot, it looks like additional fuzz . Been trying to get a better picture but she's not cooperating

Oh, that's normal. It becomes more pronounced and darker the closer you get to a molt too. People call it a mirror patch. On other species, they can be quite iridescent and reflective, similar to a mirror. They're just setae.
