Only they would know but I imagine if they feel there is something wrong with it or maybe if they need or are missing some specific nutriments the eggs could contain. But then again, I am just shooting ideas I believe would make sense. For all I know, she could wake up, step on a lego and decide she shouldn't have babies after all!
Stress. During this time anything can freak them out. Lack of a proper hide, suddenly turning bright lights on in the room when theyre in the dark, lack of escape from the light, loud vibrations, rattling windows, even just being near the enclosure can do it.
If you're trying to look at her, use red light instead, which tarantulas cannot see.
