Water Dish Placement

I have a new arboreal T, an Avic Metallica. Right now I have the water dish on the bottom of the tank. I've seen the T walk over the water dish, but Idk if the T realized the dish was a water source. Where should the water dish be for an arboreal T? Do I need to glue the water dish somewhere up higher in the tank? Thanks.

Just leave it where it is, I've caught multiple avics drinking from a ground level water dish. You can mount it higher if you would like but its un necessary

Your T will figure it out. My A. versi had no problem. Some people do glue their waterers to the side of the tank, but it's not really a necessity.
