Update on sling enclosure, will this be more appropriate?

Hi everyone! I just finished setting up a new enclosure for the litte A. chalcodes sling I rescued recently. Some members here advised that the old enclosure was too big, so I am hoping to get some feedback on the new set up. Will this be an appropriate size? I have placed it inside the old enclosure just to minimize risk of tipping or escapes. The lid is on the large enclosure and the smaller one just for added security. So any thoughts as to what else could be improved on or will this be acceptable for a bit?

Better sized for the little one. Plus as it gets too big for this home, simply remove the top and allow it into to the larger one. Great job! [emoji106]

Thanks so much everyone! I swear I have been mulling over tarantula keeping in my sleep all week, but I think this will at least be a much better solution. She seems to be happy for the more sheltered enclosure too. I actually got to see her eat for the first time tonight so I can finally say with certainty that she is taking food. She even came out for a drink once she finished and then sat and cleaned herself. I am just overjoyed to see her doing all the things a healthy spider ought to do. Still stressing a bit about the first time she moults, but we will cross that bridge when we come to it I guess. Do you suppose that the bedding in the large enclosure underneath the one she is in will do anything to absorb vibrations? I am hoping it might reduce it and provide for a more peaceful habitat.

Thanks Fleas! She is a doll. It really is amazing how even at the size of a large house spider they look so distinctively like tarantulas, just in miniature. I have been loving just sitting and watching her. I think it is a privilege to get to observe so many behaviors that one would rarely see otherwise. She has a lovely temperament as well, the two times I have had to move her she has been docile as can be. We had some hair flicking the night we found her, but I think she was just so scared after the cats had been having a go at her, the poor thing. I certainly don't hold it against her.
