About an hour ago, i checked on my A.Geniculata to see if she was okay and couldn't find her anywhere in the enclosure. I panicked, thinking she had escaped but then saw her clinging onto the lid. I'm really scared that she could climb fall without my presence and injure her abdomen :(
I use a water dish for humidity and she has decent ventilation so i guess it can't be that the humidity level is too high that she needs air? Is it because she's unhappy with the substrate? I use spagmoss, but also about to change back to potting soil since spagmoss isn't really used as a substrate, only for trapping water to create humidity.

If spagmoss is something new, it's possible she doesn't like it. Tarantulas also just climb for the sake of climbing. It wasn't unusual to find my A. geniculata stuck to the side of his cage every now and then. As long as your cage isn't too high (about twice the T's leg span is a good rule of thumb), it should be fine. Also, avoid lids made with wire mesh, since larger Ts can get their claws caught and be injured.
