Some trapdoors species need the substrate on an angle? Not sure which one you have?

Are you sure the spider is still in the enclosure? You may have a male that likes to walk about at night looking for a mate? But they should still have the traditional silken trap doors that they are so well known for. How long has the spider been in its enclosure? May not have finished it off yet? These spiders suffer stress in transporting more so than any other species I have seen. So, could just be stressed still too.

Yeah it's still in there the burrow is along the side of the enclosure and I can see it. Had it a week and just fed it's first cricket took it down quickly it's burrow was open with the spider at the top when the pray went over the burrow it hit it hard and good night to the cricket just hoping it's settling in
