This was a project I completed recently. Wanted "display" quality trapdoor enclosures that would give me a shot at actually viewing the spiders. I ordered the enclosures from Bugzarre (http://bugzarre.co.uk/epages/950002515.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/950002515/Products/200CG). Shipping was pricey but could find nothing here in the States to equal the round acrylic tanks. I custom ordered pre-cut acrylic rods and cemented them to in the center of the enclosure. My hope was to force the spider to burrow towards the outside glass. I also installed a watering tube that would allow me to add water to monitor humidity without saturating the soil (mold/fungus worries). You will see a layer of Hydro clay balls at the bottom of the enclosure. They turned out awesome! Here are some photos of the work in process and the finished product:
