I think it may just be a reflection of light that looks like spermstheca.
The closer image does have what looks like an epiandrous arch, which is male.

Managed to get a decent photo of my b smithi 4 days post molt, looking good. Afew more days and ill try him with some food, i cant get a good look at his fangs yet so i dont know how well hes hardening up.

i dont blame u there. i wouldnt risk keeping them together.....especially ones that r that expensive to replace.
