Brachypelma boehmei, aka the Mexican fireleg, is an adorable slow grower that favors a burrow and prefers to flick hairs on exit than stand and fight.

Should I put moss in with mine?

I am fairly new to the hobby, but even with my arid species I like to put in at least a little spagnum moss somewhere to help make sure things don't dry out too much. I guess I am trying to cover all the bases. Hopefully those with more experience with this species will chime in.

They don't need moss...its more for aesthetics.
