Tarantula playing with her food?

So I fed my rose hair tarantula one super worm today and instead of killing it she is dangling it in her mouth and it's still alive. Is this typical behavior? Should I leave it? Please help.

Both mine, Subadult Rosea and B. Boehmei Sling, sometimes sit with their prey in their fangs for quite a while. They're probably waiting until their venom takes effect. It might also feel disturbed and will start eating once it's dark and it's left alone.

Should be fine worm is not much of a threat to the T. When things calm down it will proceed with snacking.
