My G. pulchripes, Bling, and my P. Machala, Perp, molted today.

Bling, crappy pic but you can see the fresh leg on the left and the molt on the right.

Perp, new skin left, almost make out the molt on the right

Colt my L. itabunae molted yesterday. I got home from my trip and my son was all excited, raced up stairs to the bedrooms and Colt had flipped over again, i missed it :( but he got to watch her remove the exo so that was awesome :D

Here's her new skin, she doubled in size this time.

My son's G. rosea, Buddha, molted Saturday. He's been staying with my son's best friend, they didn't want to move him while he was in premolt. Pictures coming soon when they bring him back home next week. I'm told he's really showing the pink/red now, last molt he was drab like a porteri, so hopefully this one is the RCF :)

Love this species, its on my list. Ive always thought they resemble an Acanthoscuria species in more ways than one.

They do look similar to A. genic. My 2 are very different in character though even though they are siblings, this one runs in manic circles as soon as I touch its container whereas the other is really calm.

I'm like such a noob for this molting thing. My tarantula hasnt eaten in a good two months. She refuses food and has been acting a little weird. Ive been wanting to change her substrate since its a little old. Should I wait until after she molts?

@Jennn Don't worry too much about the substrate, as long as you remove bolus regularly there is no real need to change it. If you can post a picture I'm sure someone will be along to tell you if a moult is imminent

Here she is. She's been like this for a while. I know she starts to show symptoms but I feel she's taken longer then she usually does
