Found one of my p.metallica slings molting last night, woke up this morning and unfortunatly it had got stuck in its molt [emoji20]
I quickly set up an icu and put it in, now its just a waiting game and keep my fingers crossed

He's out!! My little Nagi showed his face again after an excruciating month (little late on the update sorry...)I took this opportunity to put him in a more size appropriate enclosure and dig out his molt (selfish bugger did it in his burrow). After digging through 2 cups of material wih a paint brush I found his little glistening body!
Now every night I give him the chance to hangout on my finger and get warm before bed. I love this little guy so much! Thank you all for the support! Also look how dark he is!!

How long can a molt take? My son's T has been on back for over 48 hrs. We thought it had dies but when I just went in his room and looked over it was moving it's legs. ( he planned on buring it today) but if there is still movement is there hope?

depends on the size. All of my little slings are done within an hour after flipping over. The juvies and sub-adult ones a couple hours. I don't have any adults yet so i can't say on those.

The older they are the longer it can take so if yours hasn't moulted in 2 years it may just be taking its time. As long as it is moving just leave it in peace and I'm sure all will be well.

Zera, my OBT moulted back in May but last night she had a clear out of her cave and left me a very crumpled, crumbly old exo outside her door. It is the most intact exo I've ever had from her as she usually decorates the inside of her cave with bits of it.

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I posted and I have some updates. E. cyanognathus molted out as a MM a couple weeks ago. He's been a jerk ever since throwing a threat posture to everything from food to water to maintainance. B. Albopilosum and G. pulchripes have also molted lately and have since been eating like total champs. I don't remember if I posted my A. sp. Peru purple molted it's leg back (she only had seven when I got her). It's a little small and noodly but it's good to see her on her way back to normal. What a beautiful girl...she might be taking over as my favorite colored from my GBB. Lastly my pumpkin patch molted as well and needs a new enclosure. She should be hardened up and ready to go by mid week so this should be fun! The little scamp loves to run as soon as the lid opens! Anyway, that's about it, I have a few in premolt now so hopefully soon I'll have more updates!

My LP that molted a couple weeks ago finally showed herself kinda:rolleyes:. She has some long legs for sureView attachment 18811
Ive been quite lucky with all my molts from my Ts, only my juvi stirmi stayed burrowed after a molt, the rest came straight out after. My juvi g.pulchra didnt even use the hide, it molted right in the middle of its enclosure lol
