Yay! Finally got new molt pics. My Avic versicolor molted while I was at work today. Looked really fresh when I got home and took this pic.

My Versi is still hiding, she's completely blocked off her web and made the walls too thick to see anything. The only way to catch a glimpse is to shine a red torch from the other side and I can just make out her shadow. Moult, darn it, lol!

sneak it out of there before she wakes up~!
lol i would but she freaks out when i get near her enclosure. My son had good luck getting the avic's molt out yesterday without messing up the web tunnel hardly at all. So i'll let him try to get Marley's molt out when he gets home from school, unless she's still sitting on part of it.

The smallest of my 3 Brachypelma albopilosums, Tinto, moulted today. Now she's not the smallest until the other 2 moult again, neither have moulted this year yet.

Hard to see as he's on it. But it looks like my 7 legged Savage genic is making a molt mat.

Redrum, my B. vagans molted yesterday morning. Should be getting close to the 2" mark :) Maybe i'll get to see him out and about now instead of just getting mooned as he sits in his hide or burrow. I thought my son took a pic but he thought i did :) i'll post one soon.

Molted today. Knew it was coming she's been holed up with a molt cocoon for a couple weeks. Haven't seen her yet and she blocked my view with her exo

A couple of moults to report.

First was my son's Brachypelma smithi, Popo.
At 6.12pm I found Popo on its back

7.23pm nearly there

9.11pm all done

Today it was the turn of my Avicularia versicolor, Jazz

Our tiny rosea molted yesterday. She might be 1/2" now if we're lucky lol.

A. sp. Peru purple is in premolt. Lay time she went quick once her abdomen turned shiny so hopefully she'll molt soon.

Gorgeous pic of our juvie GBB a week or so after molt. All colors are showing now.

A surprise molt. The LP Chum molted last night or today. Was doing water tonight and saw him pushing the molt from where he likes to rest in his burrow.

That's the molt in the corner. Lateralis I put in there Saturday night is keeping him company. I couldn't get it to come up out of the burrow to remove it. I did see Chum slap it once though when it got close. I hope he doesn't try and bite it before the roach finds the way out.
