Summer heat, how hot is too hot

I try to keep my t's as close to 78 as I can, but I don't have an air conditioner, and I have to keep my room door closed because I'm worried about my cats flea color effecting them. periodically i close her in the back and put a fan in to get some of the cooler air from the rest of the house into my room, but I don't like to do that for long to my cat. My question is How hot is too hot for a T. To be clear I'm not looking for answers like "room temp is fine" or "whatever your comfortable with they will be too", just a straight up cap for desert species top temperature. It tends to get low to mid 80s at the moment.
