Sudden inclination to burrow?

My P Scrofa Archimedes has never really been bothered to burrow, and seems to enjoy her hide just fine, but today, seemingly out of nowhere, she started wandering her cage quite a bit, moved her water dish, began to dig around the corner near it, but then changed her mind, and start digging in the back corner, that is right by her hide. Why is she suddenly so inclined to burrow?
