Substrate question

Hi people. As sime may know ive had issues with little white swimmers in my water dish. Ive tryed remiving all subtrate around the area of the water dish and replaced it. All qas good for a week or so and now they are back so i need to change it all.

At the worlshop we use a coconut media ti clear up oil and stuff. I noticed it says 100% organic recycled coconut. My question is do you think its ok to use? I looks and smells lovley and if its ok to use ill be happy cos i can get bucket loads of it cheap

Right ive been told its ok to use so im currtently in the middle of sorting out their homes. Im goingvto make the enclosures abit more apealing while im at it.

I started with the chille and my god shes got a temper!!

Kicking hairs threat poses. The lot!! I was being slow and carefull with her and taking my time but still horrible lol

I checked the smiti before i disturbed anything cos about a week ago she baracaded herself in her hide and to my dicovery she had molted! She looks lovely now. And still calm as ever

Ill post some pics when im done. Atm im just thourghly cleaning everything

just make sure no pesticides are used in or around it.

Yay congrats on the moult. Hope changing the substrate solves your problem

Ah im hoping not. Ive changed it all now lol. I doesnt say anything like that on the bag it comes in. Ill keep a close eye on the ts over the next few days

Im still in the prosess of making the enclosures i want so ill be changing them again within a month or two

Smithi looks gawjus now!! And i cant believe how stroppy the chille is. I wonder why shes like it??
