I know many people would not want a big spider to come crawling out of there freshly unwrapped present. Then there's us on this forum. It would be inhumane to wrap up a tarantula in a box so I got the next best thing, a homemade "certificate" for two new tarantulas.

I am so giddy I can hardly contain myself. Of course I've used my cert already and I will be getting a B. albiceps and an M. balfouri in about 3 days. Ehehehehe!

I'll post pics when they get here. Oh HAPPINESS!!!

So the website I ordered my T's from had a glitch and sold more M. balfouris than were actually at the shop. I substituted that one out for an adult female Ornithoctonus sp. silver grey. She is beautiful and incredibly shy.

My husband felt bad that I wasn't going to get my balfouri he went to another website and ordered me a juvenile female as well as a Psalmopoeus cambridgei (Trinidad Chevron). He also go an Eupalaestrus campestratus (Pink Zebra Beauty) for our daughter. Then while we were at the pet store buying larger enclosures we say an Avic amazonica with mold in her encclosure so we got her too.

All in all my two new T's for Mother's day turned into 6 new t's for the whole family. Everyone is in their new homes and has been fed. The balfouri walked out of her packaging and into her new home like she knew she owned the place.
