Something is up...

Hey guys, something strange is going on with my smithi. He made web on the ground from one side of terrarium to other which he never did and yesterday i tried to move him with paintbrush and he kinda lift his front legs almost going to defense pose which also never happened. What do you guys think, is he going to molt or is there something else?

Imminent moult. Should be within a day now that hes laid a molt mat. if it is a moult mat.show us a picture . also Never touch a T when its upside down molting.

Pics? Is it a MM? If so, could be that he was trying to make a sperm web.

Every day i try his temparament by gently moving him and i was trying to feed him and he walked right pass the cricket lol.. not hungry.

I don't think it is molt mat because its way too large for him. When he first molted he made a small circle like web on the ground, now it's kinda like a huge rectangle shape.

And not a MM..weird. Perhaps he's making a sleeping bag? Seriously though, now I'm wondering when the glands males use to make sperm webs start functioning. Maybe he's practicing? Pics would be cool, you have me interested now..

It's not but he never did this, that's why it's strange to me.

not sure on that one...cant say ive ever seen one do that. is he still doing it?

could be you're looking too much into it (we all do that from time to time bc we love our pets). Also I would personally stop "trying" his temperament every day - why? there is no need and it just stresses the T out which could be why you got a threat pose- the sperm webs i have seen my males make are very thick - come to think of it so are molt mats. this looks more like the trip lines just like Entity suggested.
