I have a Chilean rose spider king and had it for about 2 weeks, this morning I noticed it is trying to burrow it does have a little hide that it never uses but I was wide ring if this was a sign it wants to hide to molt or if it is just digging for the sake if digging any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Adam

thats called grooming. shes getting the dirt off of her legs so she can use the hairs to sense. how long ago did you get the t? she may be entering premolt. if you see her on her back then shes molting, not dying

she may very well be preparing for a molt. if she starts webbing heavy, congrats! you have a soon to molt tarantula. when she molts, wait a couple days to feed her as her fangs are still soft
