Small Piece of Molt Stuck to Spinnerette

Hi All,

My Chilean flame sling recently molted and a piece of the old molt is stuck to one of its spinnerettes. I got the cage nice and moist, to soften the skin, as it has been spending a lot of time in its burrow post-molt. When it was above ground, I tried to use my forceps to grab the skin, but it is stuck on pretty good. I didn’t want to risk pulling off its spinnerette.

Should I just let it come off on its own? Will it come off with the next molt? It isn’t stopping it from eating or moving around, so I’m leaning towards just leaving it be.

Biggest thing comes to my mind is can she still spin her silk through the stuck molt! If her spinnerets are clear to pass silk I would think it would eventually drop on its own. Hope this helps!
