I received a box of Ts yesterday. A 1/8 inch P. sp. Eunice stayed in his open capsule while i opened and housed the rest. When i was done the little fella was molting in the capsule so i let him be and came back to him a few hous later. After sliding him out into his enclosure i noticed he was stuck. Oddly its 2 legs on one side and 1 leg on the other from what i can see. Ive dropped a lil water on his molte hoping for the best but no luck so far. He looks frantic, tryin to push away from his molte. Poor fella.

I find with slings that if you hold the moult with a pair of tweezers they will often pull away and free themselves. It is possible though that in the process it may cast those legs but it will regrow them after another moult or 2.

Damn. After 3 passes w some water soaking the molt i worked on what you said several times. This last time he pulled away and lost both front legs on each side. Hes still alive but im afraid to put him back on his substrate.

Personally I'd gently put it back and leave it in peace for a few days to give it chance to harden up. Make sure it can get to water at all times

That's quite normal. As it's such a tiny sling it probably won't be long before it moult again and hey presto 8 legs again.
