She covers the hole

So 3 times now my Sling has made a little substrate and web cover and she sets it over the hole to her burrow.

I just move it to the side so I can drop a cricket in. Is this a normal behavior(Red Knee) should I just leave it alone?

Is she maybe "cleaning house"?

I wouldn't move anything that she's placed. I drop a cricket in the enclosure and if she comes out to eat, great. If not, I just remove the cricket.

I have a P. irmina that does the same thing. I just place the pre-killed crickets near the opening and they magically disappear. ;)

Hmm I am used to MUCH more engaging critters... Even my tortise was more interactive. Will she display herself more as a juvie and subadult?

It can be pretty awesome. I have a B. auratum and B. Vagans that just this week molted with some of their adult colors starting to show.
