This 'suspected female' I got from @Casey K. a while back recently molted. Here are a few pics of the its exo

P metallica do have fused spermatheca, and there's a little something there that I confirmed wasn't dirt or setae...
What y'all think, was she right? ;)

Hmm, very different than my P.Met female, although yours seems much younger than mine; mine is adult female.

Yeah, I was thinking yours was around 2", but why would it look so different?
Does age or size have anything to do with it? Very curious.
Age and size have everything to do with it as sexual maturity is a process of, well, maturation. Sex organs grow and develop over time. No animal I am aware of is "born ready" to copulate and reproduce.
