I'm sorry but I don't understand what you mean by feeding cold.

I personally don't keep this species but coming from Central America they should do fine in a room where you can sit comfortably in a Tshirt and as for humidity just keep the water bowl filled and overflow it occasionally to moisten the substrate around it.

I have a female sericopelma generalum and she has a good feed response .I generally keep her on dry substrate and as Enn49 said when fill water bowl I let it over flow from time to time .I find her to be skittish she retreats her cork bark hollow as soon as the enclosure door opens .
