I do electrical controls work and can do conversions quite well as I have worked on European equipment extensively as well as domestic. I just don't think about CM and carapace size as a go to reference is all ..lol.

Sorry don't know if you mistakenly wrote carapace but it's body size so from front of carapace to end of abdomen. Basically the T with no legs length.

Was just letting him know how to convert it. So with that body size I'm guessing it's around 8cm DLS? So just over 3 inches?
It is hard to see her leg span she just sits in her castle so I cannot even see her but she was quite sizable. I am not familiar with inches that much. :<

Lol, I need to be more cognizent of European sizing anyway as I love looking at Seledonia.eu. website. You guys in Europe got better pricing on Ts from what I've gathered. Don't know how you guys shipping works or cost but spider cost seems to a bit cheaper. Of course it's species dependent, but overall dang!

We got better pricing because we are piss poor. :p
You know my ceiling, your floor. Currency talk is always confusing to me.
Also what is that site when I try to go on it it doesn't exist?

It's been a minute since I was on the Seladonia site but it also called itself the Tarantula Supermarket I think. Last really cool European site I was on was actually exotic-spiders.com. There is a Cyriopagopous sp. Purple Zebra that is die for and I haven't seen any for sale here in the US. They will probably charge $200.00 per sling though if and when they become available!

The rarest the more expensive. I like my normal terrestrial spoods. Pulchra, Geniculata, Albopilosus. Maybe Balfs, although they like to sit underweb.
And my GEniculata doesn't even kick hair anymore. When I bought her she was BALD. Now she just attcks if something is near or goes away if i foof air on her a little. That's such a weird way of communicating.

Love my Geniculata "Lucky". Smallest sling I've ever received. .33 DLS. think that's about 2mm body length...lol. He/ She is now quite the big butted Juvie. Doesn't kick hardly at all which I adore. T Albo as well named "Totec". For a T to actually be given a name in mine and my son's collection makes them a little special. Can't remember the last time my Albo kicked as well.

DKS, or Dyskinetic Syndrome, in tarantulas is not a specific disease but rather a collection of neurological symptoms that severely affect the tarantula's motor functions. It is characterized by:
Jerky, twitchy, or uncoordinated movements
Loss of motor control, making it difficult or impossible for the tarantula to walk, eat, or drink
In some cases, abnormal leg positioning, such as lifting legs above the carapace.

Just saying by definition it's not a disease A disease is something we know the cause of, so DKS would therefore be a disorder.

I always wondered what the difference between a disease and a disorder was, thanks!

I see maybe it's just common in shope and on youtube since they poke them so much for photos and stuff. Buy Pissy doesn't really kick any hair. For 3 moults now. I have albo as well. :D The only problematic ones are Parahybanas, threat poses when feeding, kickers when u don't even touch them and get that they are 2cm Body lenght and the other even less. :D
