Yeah...that was harsh, huh? It's honestly that first i never swore, then I swore like a sailor until my in-utero child could hear, and then I stopped cold-turkey again. The very definition of most swear-words is just so negative & disrespectful. Children shouldn't hear it, employers don't want to hear it, customers get offended by it...
Husband swears constantly around me and Baby & I hate it. An infrequent s&$@ or d$&@ I barely notice but you should hear how some people type about their tarantulas....& they're not even angry! It's simply so off-putting.

that's the only part I find annoying lol... there's not going to be any kids on this site. and if there is it shouldnt be the worlds job to censor itself. that's in the hands of the parents. ionno, I just got a whole thread deleted because I cursed once in it... figured it was a girl who deleted it and sure enough it was.

There's more kids/ young teens on T forums than you'd think. Its not the worlds job to censor itself but it is the mods' to keep the forums "family friendly" I guess would be the best way to put it. Deleting a whole thread does sound kinda harsh tho, could have just been edited

This forum, along with a couple others, try to maintain a "Family Friendly" atmosphere by monitoring language and keeping drama down to minimum. I would think your thread being deleted was probably a mistake. The normal response would have been to edit the post and notify the poster.

Please don't take offense, they are not making a personal attack against you, just trying to keep this forum sociable, pleasant, and friendly.

I think the world is responsible for censoring itself. If citizens do not step forward and do what is right, society will break down.

I don't believe it was personal. The staff members do this without compensation or getting any credit for the great job they are doing. None off them have any reason to be mean to you. And if you think all girls are mean to you, maybe the problem isn't with them.
