I'm curious and want to know why they need smaller containers?
They don’t need a smaller container, but it is easier for you to control if they eat. Don’t forget, you always need a small water container as well.Okay I can stick with that in the mean time.

What did you use for sub and what was depth that you used?I started mine off in a 3" cube but now at just over 1" dls it is in a 4" cube. They do burrow and make trap doors where they lie in wait for food to come by.
