Unless they are slings, they don't show interest in eating the springtails. It also doesn't bother the T.

Let us know, I'm curious on how the genic is doing.
Wow so ive come home to this absolute beast of a monster, my Grammostola Pulchripes has molted and look at the difference in the photos. but some sad news i do think the genic is unresponsive. as shown in the photo, hes in the same spot, curled up, no leg movements. so a little peeved off about that one not sure what to do with the poor thing now. but wowzers this T has grown.

Not looking good on the Genic, I'm sorry for your loss.

its okay, sad though because hes actually the first T i ever purchased. but it happends. ive now lost 3 T's, the juve Genic and 2 slings and now im starting to feel like im doing something wrong. But thats the 2nd molt ive had with the Grammostola so im very happy about that. i do think in the future im going to puchase slightly older Tarantulas as ive proven to myself im not very good at taking care of smaller T's. 2 slings and a just come into juvenile stage. i have 1 more sling and i will just hold on to hope im good at taking care of it because it is a Nhandu chromatus and im looking forward to see the growth in him.

You might be depending on husbandry, I'd like to see some pics of the full enclosures.

what does husbandry mean? heres some pics of the enclosures. My knowledge on setting up enclosures isnt very good but ive cracked smthn into them atleast. my now 2nd biggest T as one has molted has a proper box like enclosure but the other 3 now 2 as one has passed has just a basic tub which i got from the pet shop. a bag of substrate i bought from pet shop and little water bowls also from there. food supply also from same pet shop which i get is crickets.

Doesn’t look like there was enough ventilation, and the substrate was prob too wet. Stuffy conditions could have been the reason she passed.

my Grammostola has the exact same ventilation as my genic as the enclosure is the same from the same shop. but i could understand how it was too wet, im not very good at knowing when to wet it, how much to wet it, and all that stuff so i guess thats my bad. but when i do wet it i dont spray very often so i might be spraying it too much.

Substrate should never be soaked or sopping. Genics like good ventilation and a dry side of substrate as well.
