What is the difference between Psalmopoeus victori (Mexican Red & Black Tree Spider) and Psalmopoeus victori (Darth Maul Tarantula)? Are they same the same?
Yup, same spider, different nicknames.

It has one real name, Psalmopoeus victori (I also see it spelled victorii) but for all we know it can have dozen or nicknames depending on where you are located. This highlight how important is it to use the species name instead of a hobby nickname ;)

Love these guys, I’ve had my sling a few weeks now & it’s totally renovated it’s enclosure & is always out & about on display, eats like a pig too - hoping next moult it will be even more fluffy because it seems sort of on the cusp of sling/juvie size.
