I went ahead and added water to the water dish when the enclosure was opened. I'm keeping a mental note of how it's laying. If it moves I'll know.

All I'd like to remind is, that even if it ends up being gone doesn't strictly mean that you have ****ed up or failed.
Several individuals are not meant to survive and that's just how the nature works - It sucks, yes, but blaming oneself is not an answer in the cases like this.
Obviously I hope for the best for you and the little fella, but whatever happens don't let it to discourage you.

I lost my Cyriocosmus elegans (DLS <1cm) after owning it only for 3 weeks or so. Everything seemed perfect until I just found it curled.

very true. I have a spreadsheet for all the hundreds of spiders I have ever owned (about 900) and death rate is a steady 10% and this is for the spiders that have generally reached a decent size. Obviously that also includes Mature Males and old age, but the point is, yes it happens and a lot of the time, there seems to be no apparent reason.

I have had one do this too, but it was during shipping, all the others were fine in the same box. This is why they have so many offspring. To ensure they will carry on their species.

@Tnoob I'm sorry man, don't hold yourself accountable or let it discourage you. Sometimes there's just nothing we can do. I just found my c.versicolor sling dead this morning and im kinda left scratching my head. I did everything i could to keep it right and something still went wrong.

This is true...when I purchase or trade for slings I get at least 5 -10. Usually I'll lose 1or 2 of them for unknown reasons.
