New MRK Sling Mom

So glad I found this forum. I am a new sling mom, and am so nervous about it! Here hoping to learn a lot so my sling will grow up big and strong. I just got a Mexican Red Knee today. Not sure if I have a boy or girl. Any suggestions for a catchy name?

You'll find B. hamorii very easy to raise. At 2" you should be able to ascertain what sex your tarantula is. As for names, unless it's gender neutral, I would wait until it's large enough to determine sex.

Red knee was my first as well! Congratulations on the new addition. I named mine Hex and it is now just about as big as yours after a successful molt

They're wonderful & they get real colorful as they develop.

Mine darkened a little after it melted and lost a lot of the sling pinkness. I love watching them grow up, they feel like my little babies lol
