My kids are older. I have a 9 yo girl, a 11 yo boy and a 16yo boy. Them taking her out or messing with any of the T's is not a concern at all. My husband is worried about escapees getting scared and getting defensive. It took my daughter and I about 5 years to convince him that tarantulas make great pets so I think in a couple of years he'll feel more confident about the other creatures I want to keep.
