Having spent yesterday at the Eastern Invert Show at Bedford. I took a ride to the coast today to buy a female Aphonopelma chalcodes complete with a well set up enclosure.
Looking online the 45 X 45 X 30cm tall Exo Terra enclosure retails for a RRP of over £140, the skull for about £15, the artificial plants for a few pounds each & yesterday at Bedford A chalcodes were selling for £60 & up, for a small female. We paid £70 for the complete set up.
It really is worth joining sites like preloved, pets4homes etc & setting up an alert.
