My son was up before me this morning, unusually, and he'd heard the rattling of glass coming from the region of the bookcase containing my larger Ts. Fotunately for me he investigated knowing one of our cats has a habit of removing the wedge in my 8" Lasiodora parahybana, Pip's vivarium door. On this occasion the wedge had been shifted slightly but Pip had managed to open the door 1cm and get 3 legs through the gap. He nudged her back and shut the door replacing the wedge soon to be replaced by a lockable vivarium lock.

I dread to think what could have happened to Pip or my 3 cats had she got that door open enough to squeeze out to freedom.

Moral of the story is - never get complacent with Ts they can always surprise you.

Reminds me of when I was feeding my beardie.
She was on my lap, bf was holding the bag of crickets.
She jumped off my lap to the floor, bf dropped the bag of crickets to hold back the dog while I scrabbled to retrieve the beardie.
Luckily the only damage was the mass escape of crickets under the viv.

Did you, your bf or bearded dragon manage to scoop up all the crickets?
