I’ve really enjoyed watching my b hamorii do its daily thing & have been looking at a lot of different Ts with interest. One of them that caught my eye was the t albopilosus for its crazy hair. Well,I found a local dealer with them & my newest critter is waiting to be mailed to me. 1.5 inch ball of fur on its way.

Congratulations on your new addition! They (T. albopilosus) are super sweet spiders with a docile nature. Perfect beginner species!! :)

Do you know if it's a Honduran or Nicaraguan T. albopilosum?

Nicaraguans have longer hair than the Honduran and are also a little more tempermental.

I have a Honduran and love it but it didn't calm down until it hit 3.5 inches. When it hit 2.5 to 3 inches it became defensive. Also at 3 inches is when it transformed into a ball of fluff.

Either way they are both great choices and you'll love it's unique personality. I absolutely love mine.
