Of course, you also just have to have a pokie & C versicolor as well if you do arboreal ones.

How common are B. schroederi in the UK? I would highly recommend them. I think they are underrated. They are better eaters than your typical Acanthoscurria Sp, Pamphs, Lasiadora Sp, and Theraphosa Sp.

I've never payed much attention tbh. Not a name I recognise. I'll keep an eye out for them

Description------Unit ---------price-------Qty------Amount
Brazilian White BandedF
Item #: A.brocklehurstiF $80.00 USD1 $80.00 USD

I bought this subadult female from Swift's Inverts in February 2014. She is a beast. my largest tarantula. She can climb her acrylic box like a pokey and has a near endless appetite that wills her to attack the tongs. I often have to wait for her to take the dubia and release the tongs. She will also eat frozen/thawed fuzzie mice leaving only the top skull of the mouse uneaten. A pinkie thawed will not see anything left uneaten.

I have a couple of LP females and a hooked out male, two female N chromatus adults and four p. cancerides females and a large p. machala female that body wise is as large as my Brazilian white banded. While all of these are cherished my brocklehursti is the most impressive.

I agree, everyone should have a Brachypelma albopilosum (Nicaragua) and a Cromatopelma cyanepubescens. I may be biased though, as those were the first two species I got. :)

The one 'must have' old world, for me, is Lapropelma violaceopes.

I hesitate to use the reference, but its like Pokemon. Gotta catch 'em all!
I love Pokemon so good reference lol. But yea. I love that there are so many. Everyone has different favourites and when you hear why they like them it makes you think then you look. Then it turns up lol

No such thing as a brockelhursti. A geniculata is what you're looking for. Brockelhursti were proven to be genics, with mild regional differences. Importers don't get to name tarantulas. Although I thank them for their efforts.

Well that is good news! I already have this species then.

Thank you for the correction and info.

The T I must have next is Phormictopus sp full green... if I could only have one though it would probably be my L.parhybana, I know sounds boring but I love my Lp. All of em are my favorite lol but she's the first T I raised from a sling and the biggest in my collection today so I have a soft spot for her especially.

The Lasiodora genus is awesome, can't go wrong with any species.

Playing battle tongs with my L klugi is anything but boring. I've stopped tong feeding her ages ago.

I'd also suggest Pamphobeteus sp machala or any other Pamphobeteus species of you don't already have one.
