Hello

I am going to be moving soon. And fortunately it’s only going to be a couple of miles. But I can’t say our streets are very smooth. I guess the smaller enclosures are ok for slings and stuff as long as I keep them secure and stable. But larger enclosures would you secure the Tarantula in something smaller or just move them carefully one by one. I assume good weather and making sure new room is a good temperature. Thanks. I’m mainly thinking of say my A Genic who is in a 30x30 now and could bounce about.

If it were me I would move them in their enclosures being careful! Especially since the majority of my T's are old world...lol. If your worried about taking bumbs you could add some spaghnum moss as a temporary measure against this.
I would put the slings in a tight fitting box and still move them separately from everything else. Now I'm asking myself how did my font change in the middle of this!!! Dang Phones! Best wishes with your upcoming move! Hope all goes smoothly .

When I moved 30 miles all my 90 Ts travelled in the removal van. I wrapped the glass tanks in bubble wrap taping lids and doors shut. The smaller containers were packed in a couple of boxes. All arrived safely.
My snakes on the other hand were removed from their vivariums and transported in Reall Useful Boxes and travelled in my daughters car.
Good luck with your move.
