Hi all. Ive had my sling since march.
It was eating well. Seemed to be having trouble catching. Then I learned on Tom's site to squish the crickets head .I did it ate. The sling has not molted. Will it always make a web mat before molt? Ive had a picture of it on here everyone said def premolt. It has slowed down a lot but ate 2 days ago. Thank you in advance.

Some pictures might help as well as the scientific name of your sling. My tarantulas (Grammostola pulchra, G. pulchripes and G. rosea) have not always put down a mat. Many have gone into seclusion to molt. I have also found as others that if they eat too much, they will sometimes fast for a while.
