Molt stuck to abdomen

So when I checked on my B. Smithi I noticed the molt was still attached to its abdomen and it was essentially dragging the molt around as it was walking. I checked on the forum and I did the wet paintbrush and it seemed to work.

My concern is, is this a common thing that happens? The first 2 is with the molt still attached. The last picture is after using the wet paintbrush.

It should not happen every time she molts.
atleast not what I have seen. I had an A.chalcodes but had it only one time.

Maybe keep it a little more moist if you think the molt is coming.

It is not uncommon for a part of a molt to get stuck. We have around 100 T's & it happens maybe once or twice a year.

I do keep one side moist and one side dry. It's hard to see in the picture but the 3rd pic shows it on the dry side.

I found a picture of it right after it finished molting. I knew it was in premolt so I made sure to keep its water dish full and let it overflow a bit. You can see the damp side vs dry side in this picture
