Lighting Preferences?

hi! all - am wondering do Ts have a lighting preference?(I ran a search but got no hits) - I have orchids under grow lights and that area stays a nice 70-72 degrees which seems ideal for the Ts - do they like bright light? It seems they would - lights on 12/ off 12... Thnx in advance for info! Lynn

You can cause molting issues with lights. It can dry them out.

thanks for input! have about decided to put them on the mantle(no fires happen in my fireplace) - have been monitoring temp there all day and it stays about 70 (I am in S Carolina with heat on a 72) - summers will be warmer too - and that area gets natural light.

As long as they have the day/night cycle they'll be fine. Don't put them in direct sunlight that will dry them out like a heat lamp
