Quick question. How do you keep your roaches/super worms healthy for your t's? Is it necessary to keep them in sawdust, or can I just keep them in a tub with some egg cartons? Do they need to get water at all? What do you feed them?

I keep my crickets in a plastic jar with dry oats, a piece of egg crate for hiding, and a balled-up, wet paper towel for their water source (they sort of suck on it). I've heard you can also give them slices of oranges for this purpose. You can buy cricket food at pet shops but I've always found it a bit pricey. Oats and/or dry cereal will work. The crickets' quarters need to cleaned regularly as mold can develop.

Rubbermade tub and egg trays. Dry food is a catfood oat mixture. I offer various fruits and veggies a couple times a week. Once a week they get repashy bug burger. I do not give them any water, causes too many problems with mold, fungus, and drowning.
