Juvenile Tarantula often climbing walls, should I be worried?

My juvenile T has been frequently climbing up into a little corner/nook in its enclosure for the past week or so. It has been fed however about 3 weeks ago I moved it. Should I be worried?

The same thing happened to me. He would never come down; he was always climbing. I had moved him to a ground terrarium. I solved the problem by putting him in a smaller box. I think they feel safer in a smaller box. Yours might be the same. Your box seems too big to me.

Thanks, I'll try to divide the enclosure to make it smaller

Just add some extra substrate so when it climbs it is safer. The danger is. A T is like a balloon full of water. And any fall risks it splitting open. Reduce the available height to climb to less than 1.5 times it's leg span & like that, any fall is minimal & not likely to cause injury. But T's do take a while to adjust to a new enclosure & climbing is not uncommon.

Also, what species is it? Some T's are arboreal. That is, they were born to climb. Others are happier on very dry substrate & will climb if the substrate is even moist.

It is a Mexican Red-Knee Tarantula. I'll be sure to add some substrate just in case it falls. Thank you so much for the advice. I'll see if it feels better

Your terrarium looks good. It is not high enough for him to fall. Like @m0lsx said, some more soil might be it.

Once I moved my T's to their dedicated room and heated it the majority of my T's started climbing and hanging out on the walls. They will seek warmth and go to climbing as well. Just figured I would throw that out there as well.

Just give it, a little extra substrate & some time to settle in. It is not uncommon for T's to climb for the first few weeks of being in a new enclosure. And some do it all the time. You have things for it to climb on, so it can escape the substrate if it wants too. So just give it time, reduce the height a small amount & let it be a tarantula & so what it wants.
