How did Goebbels get into the mix? In all seriousness, neither the T not the owner experienced any permanent harm. This makes it more entertaining then anything else.

I find it useful for those who want to get some psycho OW as their first tarantula.

The problem is that those guys lost & thereby greatly increased the harm already done.

Still, individuals like Pinochet have proven that the reds can be stopped and are in fact cowards. I could post my infamous martial law video, but that's too controversial for this forum.

Still, since both the tarantula and owner are alive and kicking I think whatever harm happened had for the most part past.

In fact, by showing just what these guys can do, Shampain has done us all a great service...that need not ever be repeated!!

The only balls that loser has are the ones on his chin. That self proclaimed ***** is not only a reject on TF and AB but is now a viral ***** on YT.
Another FYI, men wear kilts but Sugar Britches wears skirts.

View attachment 38763 That's right, I'm back *****.

That's a bit harsh. There is some scientific merit to what Shampain did so long as it's never repeated. Tarantulaguy1976 has done a similar thing detailing why we must be careful with pokies.

I've modified the way I do my pokie cages to prevent a repeat of that happening. Since I'm seriously considering adding either an OBT or E olivacea to the denizens of my mad realm, it's worth taking a second look.

Although the cork bark round somewhat reduces the visibility of my largest P striata, it does probably grant another layer of protection. I've glued a plastic plate to it's bottom and need only screw on a lid to safely contain him should the need arise.

From a person who knew him on another site, very telling isn't it?

Quoted:
"I remember him and that video. Scottish guy in his mid-thirties, named Steven, who went by the name Shampain88 on Arachnoboards. He posted that to the forum back in the autumn of 2017. He had been in the hobby for a hot second, gone practically straight to old worlds, then decided to pull that **** in the name of 'science' after having tarantulas for about a year... at best. He literally got chased off the forum for it, although there was a disappointing number of people who defended him. There were eight pages to that thread and you can see them here: https://arachnoboards.com/threads/p-murinus-bite.298496/ I don't know if he left voluntarily, or was kicked off, but I think he was gone shortly after posting that video. I heard he showed up on another forum that kind of has a reputation of taking the rejects from Arachnoboards (although I know a few members there and it really isn't like that). I don't know if he still posts there. I really hope he left the hobby, because he is the last person that this hobby, and responsible hobbyists, need. It wasn't just this video either, he was an asshole looking to these animals to prove his masculinity... basically just a dime a dozen punk. He has a photo out there of him handling a Phoneutria as well. He's also been accused of engaging in bigoted/racist rhetoric. I'm actually sorry to see that his pathetic display is still making the rounds."
Your rambling is starting to sound as douchy as most of the internet comments. Give it up.

I honestly thought the video was pretty informative. The thought I had was that if I'm going to get something dangerous I better get an idea of what I'm up against. It was eye opening. @Shampain took one for the team, and his reaction, although not very specific in any way, was still informative.
