Is this webbing or mould?

Hi,

My 0.5cm Cyriocosmus Elegans is hidden in here somewhere. Since I can't fit a water bowl in here I have been dropping a few water drops onto the moss daily for her to drink, but I am worried I have made the enclosure too humid. Does anyone know if the white stuff is webbing or mould? The cricket I have put in there for her is dead by the way, but she dragged a dead cricket under the substrate a week ago and I have no way of knowing whether she ate it all or whether it is rotting.

Looks like mould to me... Remove what you can from there and and replace with a bit of fresh moss.. Make sure you have plenty of ventilation holes in there.. They will need to be tiny so the sling can't get out
It looks quite soggy in there but I personally don't like using vials for that reason as without adequate ventilation they get very stuffy and humid - for the tiny slings we use old waxworm tubs as they are perfect as far as ventilation holes go and big enough for a tiny ink pot water dish :)

Thank you very much for the advice and pictures! I have taken the layer with mould in out and have spotted her - she doesn't seem to be moulting so I might take this chance to move her into something more suitable now. I had put quite a lot of holes in the lid but indeed it does keep getting steamed up so I keep having to keep it open for a while and watch it to get rid of that. I have another one of these spiderling tubs (on the right in the pic below) - do you think that would be better?

The reason I hadn't put her in there originally is because the shop advised keeping her in the vial until she grows a bit. It also isn't as high as the vial and I heard they like burrowing a lot. Hmm.

To the left is another plastic tub I have and could put holes in?:

Yes we have some very small slings in those spiderling tubs (on the right in your pic) the ventilation holes in them are perfect for tiny slings... I know some people will disagree with this but I find its easier to provide a better environment for slings in something other than a vial... The choice is yours but that's what I would do.. At least you can provide a tiny water dish (tattoo ink pot or a pill blister washed out well) and you can give it a tiny hide - you can keep a little of the sub around the water dish a bit damp for the sling.. If you are using crickets make sure they are prekilled and remove the following day :)
