I have a Mexican red knee. She is still very small. Some one told me her tank is to big?

your enclosures to tall. more floor space than height, with a deep dry substrate add some more coco fiber . and your substrate is to wet. mexican red knees don’t like high humidity (around 50% – 60% is ideal) so don’t mist or spray, but always have a small dish of fresh water available.

Size seems fine; Nature has no walls, remember. How big is it, in inches or centimeters, and how big is the cage? I have a 1 3/4" GBB in a 12" x 12".

Dont worry about it. If you have the space for it, and the time.to moniter the tarantula then go with it.

I go for big tanks even with my small T's as to not rehouse it many times as it grows. As long as it can find the offered food easily it is no problem. That's my opinion.

I tend to agree. But the finding food thing can be tricky depending on the T. More aggressive species tend to do better.
