I thought it would be, interesting, as the title suggests, to document different things you've observed with your Ts.

To start, all of mine take shelter before a storm. I've been suspicious of this but just confirmed it today.

The clouds have become dark and lowered, temps outside have dropped, indoor humidity has gone up a few %.

All of my T's are now in their burrows or hides or web tunnels, wherever they can get shelter from the incoming storm.

Cool to see them react with nature

The only thing different is with the arrival.of spring every T I have has done some serious renovations to their enclosures. They are by a window but not in direct light. They get filtered light but obviously know the seasons changed. They all look neglected. It's a joke, seriously. My son tells me I'm slacking, I keep telling him it's their house their way lol
Going to take note of the storm thing now though.

I've noticed that when it rains heavily outside my Rosea seems to climb more, i,e, on the side of her tank or onto her logs. I wonder whether it's an instinct to escape her burrow (which she doesn't have/use anyway) to become flooded?

I'd say so. I noticed our rosea sling doing this also as she has no burrow and won't go in her hide, she sits on top of it. Yesterday we had a good rain storm and she was on the side of the enclosure when i did water dishes.

I figured it was from me moving her enclosure and adding water, but she was on the side before then, so i think you've got it.

This can probably be attributed to changes in atmospheric pressure. Nice observation, haven't had the chance to observe this with my Ts. :)

One interesting behavior I have observed with my Ts is that they have a particular spot where they mostly stayed in their enclosure, not really the hide or burrow but a spot that is exposed where I am sure to find them when I am checking in on them. As I have rehoused my 2.5-inch plus Ts to uniform enclosures, some have larger spaces to roam so I find it interesting as to why they always comes back to that particular spot. They do roam around the enclo if you are wondering.

Makes you think that they have their fave spots.;) I think I will capture some photos of my Ts on their fave spots next time. :D

My gift baby rosea has a favorite spot. Whenever you open her enclosure for maintainance she hangs over the edge. Left her there tonight while I was doing the enclosures to see (right there with me) She spent about an hour. Realize they have poor eyesight but I swear she was watching.

If you try to push her back a bit she'll rest her legs on you but not move, she's adorable.
Literally sat there like an overseer, love these silly things.

This is quite odd, as anyone in the UK will know, we have had pretty bad weather recently and today it's been raining non-stop where I am. I had checked on my T this morning, and he was right on the side of the tank, in his backless hide that is up against the plastic. How mysterious!!
