I'm worried my Grammostola rosea could be showing early signs of impaction

I'm worried my Grammostola rosea might be showing very early signs of impaction. Earlier tonight I thought I caught a glimpse of a small amount of fecal matter near her spinnerets, but I'm not entirely sure. She also seemed to refuse food earlier when I tried to feed her a small-medium Dubia roach about 2 weeks after he last meal, I'm not sure if she just wanted to hunt it down later though. Also, she seemed to be showing a partial death curl earlier, but what baffled me was her abdomen looked perfectly normal from what I could tell, and she was only doing it with her front legs. I misted the substrate she was on, overflowed her water dish, and misted the rest of the substrate just in case she was dehydrated and then she started to walk around normally. She's been walking around fine and climbing on top of her hide since then, but I'm just worried it could be something significant. Has this ever happened to anyone else before?

Stop misting. That makes them uncomfortable. Overflowing the waterdish is fine. Sounds like it may be ready to molt. I've had subadult T's show a shmutz on the booty by the spinnerets but only premolt. If its been eating regularly and now refusing, thats what it sounds like. Just leave it be and soon you will see it lay down a small web. After that it will molt. Patience.

The thing is she hasn’t really changed in coloration and her abdomen looks normal, which leads me to believe she might not be in pre-molt, that’s what really had me worried. Also thanks for the advice about the misting, I’ll stop doing that. Here’s a picture of her I took about a week ago if that helps.

She looks ok. Hard to tell, you need better light. How are the temps? Did you remove the prey item? Hows the substrate? No mold? Clean water dish? Hide? A clear pic of her booty would really help.

She does look healthy. A bit hard to tell. Flash might help. So how about the temps? Is the substrate f

The room where I keep them is around 75 degrees Fahrenheit and I keep her humidity as close to 65-70% as I can. I was misting the substrate before you advised me not to, but now I plan on just overflowing the water dish like you said. The room does get very dry sometimes because I have a heater in there that I can’t remove since it’s built into the wall.

I just changed the substrate and did a deep clean a few weeks ago, no mold is present, water dish is clean, she’s got a good sized hide she hangs out in a lot, and I’ll take a picture of her abdomen with better light as soon as I can.

Oh and I haven’t removed the roach yet, I figured I’d give her a little while to catch it if she wanted it.
