Hi you guys
I am still kind of new to the tarantula hobby, started a year and a half ago. I see so many people with tarantula's who has lost a leg or more after a molt. Is it a common occurrence? And does it happen more often with slings, juveniles or adults? please any info will help, i am kinda scared that one of my babies might have a bad molt in the future and loose a leg.

During a bad molt it can happen. It doesn't seem to occur very often, though. Loss of a limb is not as drastic as it sounds...tarantulas regenerate them if necessary over their next few molts. In case of, your first course of action should be to stop the "bleeding", or loss of hemolymph (tarantula blood). You can brush either flour or corn starch on the wound. Other than that just be nice to the T and be patient. :)
