I recently joined the tarantula hobby. I have beautiful little pink toe. Not sure male/female yet. I have the enclosure between 74 night and 84 day wIth the humitidy between 65 -85 % as best I can. It ate about 6 crickets and 1 small moth between Sun (when I got it) to Tuesday. I offered a cricket on Wed with no intrest. So I removed it the following am.
The abdomen looks to be nIce and firm (full)
I read that when full a young (spiderling) spider will turn down food or begin the molting process.

Being new, I'm just trying to stay on top of things and try to improve my skill at careing for the little one (s)
It's sitting on the side wall of the enclosure in its hidinh area.
I don't think anything is wrong but just want to be sure

That's west I was hoping. I'm thinking of Giving another day then offering food again. Do you think that's enough time or too much time? Thanks! I'm looking at geTting a green bottle blue next. Also I'm trying to research the x. Intermedia but I'm having trouble finding information on the web for that one

Sounds fine to me. How often are you feeding it? Baby tarantulas can be fed as little as a few crickets once or twice a month, although a couple times a week is more desirable if you want them to grow faster. Some people power-feed their baby Ts; that is, feed them as much as they will eat until they reach 2 inches to get them past their fragile tiny stage. I had two slings that I power-fed and for awhile they were molting every month. However, once they pass 2 inches, resist the urge to keep power-feeding. The bigger and bulkier they get, the greater the risk of injury if they fall from something. Yes, as molting time approaches they will quit eating and the abdomen will look nice and full.

up to yesterday. around dinner time id give a cricket then one or 2 before I went to bed. plus a moth if I could catch one before my husky did. (she's quite helpful like that)
I didn't offer anything last night but plan to tonight
thanks for the advise and help

Young Pink Toes , ahhhh. This is perfectly normal! Enjoy the growth of the spider, try taking a photo each wek from approz same distance and lighting and line up the body on pc for a timelapse. I plan on attempting this with my new babes on the way.

thanks! so far ive been offering food about every other day maybe two days. He I think guessing from the body has been taking the crickets about 95% of the time with that schedule. I will try to capture the growth process thanks again
